Robert Chu: CEO and CTO


Recognizing the considerable potential of cloud and blockchain technologies in the healthcare industry and the need for better solves for care continuum and pervasive cyber-security issues, Robert founded Embleema in 2017 after a distinguished career at IBM and QuintilesIMS. Robert worked for IBM in Europe and the US for more than 15 years, serving in key technical and management positions such as Global Wireless Solutions Executive in the US and Director of Telecommunications, Media & Utilities Sector for IBM France. In June of 2007, Robert joined IMS Health France and served as the General Manager of the affiliate in 2011. He then moved to Shanghai in China in 2013 to run the Asia Pacific and China operations for IMS Health. Robert was subsequently promoted in 2015 to Senior Vice President, Global Technology Solutions, responsible for the management of a 1,400 employees and $800 million business, delivering SaaS solutions for the healthcare and life sciences industries globally. Robert graduated with a Master's Degree in Engineering from the Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, France in 1988 and obtained a Master's in Computer Sciences shortly thereafter from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications in 1990. Robert's extensive professional experience in healthcare Information Technology and relationships in the healthcare industry at the executive management level make him well positioned to lead Embleema to financial success.

Pradeep Sreekanthan: Chief Delivery Officer

As Chief Delivery Officer at Embleema, Pradeep Sreekanthan comes with over 20 years of progressive management experience in the US, Indian, and other international markets, specifically in healthcare. He was Director at QuintilesIMS (now IQVIA), where he conceived and reengineered products for the pharma and life-sciences market in South Asia. He aided the company’s expansion into payer and provider segments and the company’s global foray in technology solutions for healthcare. Pradeep was Director at a large, risk-bearing medical group in the U.S. – he oversaw various IT systems and programs to enhance patient care. He pioneered analytics and business intelligence systems at Fortune 500 and other companies in different verticals, including in healthcare. As an entrepreneur, he was instrumental in setting up a national chain of hospitals in India, as also providing advisory services to hospitals and hospital systems in India and emerging markets. Pradeep holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Prashant Khambekar: Chief Blockchain Development Executive

As Senior Vice President in charge of new initiatives for Harbinger Systems, Prashant got the company started on Blockchain. He has deep experience in Ethereum Blockchain development and oversees the development of the PatientTruth Proof-of-Concept. His team has developed an Employee Verification system and a Vendor Payment system based on Ethereum. The systems are full-stack with Node.JS server-side and Meteor.JS front-end. Another blockchain has been derived from Lisk with customization of rewards, consensus mechanism, wallet, explorer, etc. Furthermore, his team is getting proficiency in Hyperledger Fabric and associated Go chaincode. Prashant is active in the blockchain community including teaching Ethereum. Prashant holds a PhD in Computer Science from Clemson University, South Carolina; his dissertation was in distributed computing.

Alex Botteri: Strategy and Operations Advisor

Alex Botteri is the CEO of Ring4. With a software engineering background, he has worked 10+years in the Software and Telecommunications industries in sales and product positions. Alex holds a MS science in Computer Science of ESIEE Paris. Based in San Francisco, California, Alex is involved in the Blockchain community, known for his work as organizer of Blockchain WithTheBest, the world’s largest summit dedicated to Blockchain. He is advising Embleema on Strategy and Operations.

Atakan Seçkin: User Experience Advisor

Atakan Seçkin is a UX designer with 8 years of experience designing digital products. Previously he worked with companies and startups like Pulse Systems (EMR vendor), Google and Gotit!. Atakan holds a Visual Communication Design degree from Istanbul Bilgi University and leads the design efforts for the Embleema brand and the PatientTruth product.

Alexis Normand: Advisor - Patient Engagement

A graduate of HEC (Msc.), Sciences-Po (MPA) and La Sorbonne in philosophy (Ba), Alexis has a background in public policy, healthcare reform and strategic consulting. In 2013, he created the B2B department of French start-up Withings, acquired by Nokia in 2016. He became head of B2B for Nokia Digital Health and moved to the US in 2017 to leads its Boston office Alexis has driven the adoption of digital devices in healthcare with employers, medical providers and life sciences, growing B2B revenues above $5M+ in 4 years. This worked has involved managing the successful launch and customer implementation of SaaS solutions in Corporate Wellness and Patient Care and building a network of 150+ partners in the US and European eHealth ecosystem. A digital health evangelist, Alexis has promoted the vision that patient centric solutions are shifting the logic of healthcare from "fee for service" to "value-based-care", creating new models for prevention in an ageing society. He has been an active keynote speaker (Connected Health, HIMSS, AHA, OECD etc.), and policy advocate, e.g., as a member of the GDPR working Group on eHealth for the EU commission. He has has authored publications, including a book on "The Revolution of eHealth"), blog articles and columns in leading newspapers Les Echos & Le Monde

Bernard Gilly: Ph.D., Founder and President of iBioNext

Mr. Bernard Gilly, Ph.D. has over twenty years of experience in the financial and biotech sectors.He co-founded several disruptive technologies start-ups and is currently Chairman of Pixium Vision(2011), EyeTechCare (2012), Gecko Biomedical (2013) and Chronocam (2015). From 2005 to 2009,he founded and was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fovea Pharmaceuticals, a privatelyowned biotech company, which was acquired by sanofi in 2009. After the acquisition, he becameSenior Vice-President of the Ophthalmology Division of Sanofi until 2012. Prior to Fovea, Dr. Gillywas a partner at Sofinnova Partners from 2000 to 2005.

Frederic Duchesne: CEO of Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals

Mr. Frederic Duchesne serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Pharmaceuticals Division of Pierre Fabre, serving patients in more than 130 countries. He also serves as Managing Director Pharmaceutics of Pierre Fabre Investment Arm and is a Member of the Board of the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). Prior to joining Pierre Fabre in 2010, Frederic held senior executive positions at GSK in the UK and France.

Adel B. Al-Saleh: Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG and CEO of T-Systems

Before being appointed Member of the Board of Management of Deutsche Telekom AG and CEO of T-Systems effective January 1, 2018, Adel Al-Saleh was CEO of Northgate Information SolutionsGroup where he developed a turnaround strategy and drove a successful value creation programacross Northgate’s three businesses. Prior to joining Northgate in 2011, Adel held various seniorexecutive positions at IMS Health (market leader in healthcare informatics) and spent the first 19years at IBM, holding a variety of senior leadership roles.
